One of the city's advantage is its location, close to the major communication routes and the natural world surrounding them. Zielona Góra is a city which unites progressiveness with tradition. This is a city with an excellent atmosphere, opening up to guests and new residents and consistently infusing its wine-making traditions with new life (www.winobranie.zgora.pl).  It is home to the Zielona Góra Cabaret Belt and host to a number of major events, such as the Wine Festival, the Russian Music Festival, Green Town of Jazz Festival, the Cabaret Festival, the Festival of Folklore, the Anna German Festival, Quest Europe, the Filmowa Góra Independent Film Festival. Zielona Góra is also a seat of learning where local authorities work in close cooperation with both the business and scholarly communities. In the academic institutions, new courses are being established, which will increase the graduates' chances of finding attractive employment opportunities.
